Some universities require GRE or GMAT exams for graduate applications in the USA.
The GRE is an exam taken by students from all over the world, which must be taken by those who want to study for a master’s degree in any field in the USA. The GMAT, on the other hand, is a computer-based test that most schools in the United States require from graduate, MBA or doctoral students in fields such as business, marketing and finance.

GRE EXAM (Graduate Record Examination)
GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is an exam that must be taken by students who want to study for master’s and doctorate education at all universities offering education in English. GRE, which is reminiscent of the SAT exam in terms of structure; It is two different exams as General Test and GRE Subject Test. It was first issued by the Educational Testing Service in 1949. It measures students’ verbal, numerical, writing and thinking skills.
GRE General Test
This exam takes 3 hours and is computer based. It consists of 3 different sections as Quantitative, Verbal and Analytical and the questions are multiple choice. In addition to these, there is also a section consisting of 2 questions that we can call Composition or Article Writing. Students should allocate 45 + 30 minutes to this section for a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. In the first part, students are expected to make comments on the given topic, and in the second part, they are expected to reason about an argument. The exam is graded out of 800. The composition section is evaluated out of 6.
GRE Subject Test:
It is conducted to measure the proficiency of students who want to do postgraduate studies in eight disciplines. Some schools have stipulated the Subject Test along with the General Test.
It consists of 205 test questions with 5 choices. It consists of questions from 40% natural and experimental psychology, 43% social sciences and 13% other subjects.
The GRE exam has three multiple-choice parts; It consists of numerical, verbal, analytical and composition parts. In the composition section, 2 questions are asked to the student candidate. GMAT Exam
The GMAT exam was first introduced in 1997. It is done via computer in many countries of the world. Since it is an online participation exam, the student can take the exam when he/she feels ready for the exam. So you can set your own exam date. This application made on the computer is called Computer Adaptive Test. The GMAT Exam measures the student’s command of the English language.
Schools providing education in departments such as business, finance and marketing abroad ask their students who will do master’s, MBA and doctorate to take this exam. The administering of the GMAT exam is the Educational Testing Service.
The GMAT exam consists of three parts. It is divided into numerical, verbal and compositional parts. Exam questions are displayed according to the difficulty level. The student has only one right to answer the question. Retrospective correction is not possible. The first questions are usually of medium difficulty. The difficulty level of the next question is determined according to your answer. In order to determine the level of the student, the computer makes a mix of difficult and easy questions and delivers them to the student. When the student gives an incorrect answer to a difficult question, the next question that appears on the screen is easier. The GMAT curriculum, which is an exam based on endurance and patience, is a very heavy exam. Students who are citizens of the United States are also required to take this exam. For this reason, the questions also test native English speakers.
In the GMAT exam, students score between 200 and 800. The best universities usually require you to achieve test scores of 600 or higher.
GMAT exam sections

problem solving and numerical knowledge competence. In this section, the student must answer the questions within 75 minutes. There are 37 questions in this section.

Analytical This
is the section where the student’s language use and writing skills are measured. The student is given 30 minutes to write in this section.

Students who do not like their performance in the GMAT exam may request the cancellation of the exam. This cancellation process can be made by the student during the exam or after the exam. If the student stays away from the screen for a certain period of time during the exam, the exam will be canceled automatically. GMAT scores are valid for 5 years.
