Bournemouth University is an innovative and vibrant public university located in Bournemouth, Dorset, a coastal town famous for its seven-mile stretch of sandy beaches. The town of Bournemouth has a population of roughly 500,000 and is a thriving hub for several industries including the creative, financial, and tourism sectors. Bournemouth University boasts a strong student community with over 19,000 students and more than 2,600 international students. Talbot Campus is the main campus for Bournemouth University and hosts the main University buildings including the student union and the main library. It has had many recent updates (2017-2018) and is a self-contained campus located on the boundary of Bournemouth and Poole.
