Facilities: Merchiston Campus’ inspiring, innovative and collaborative atmosphere is enhanced by facilities from cutting-edge cyber security labs to a computer games lab to TV and film studios and. In addition, Merchiston boasts a business incubator, two cafes and a 500-seat computing centre, with both Mac and PC hardware, that is open round-the-clock in Trimesters 1 and 2. 

Academic and Research Excellence: ENU is the top ranked Scottish modern university in the Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. More than half of their research was rated either “world-leading” or “internationally excellent” in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF).

Environmental Sustainability: ENU is working to minimise both their wider and legacy carbon footprint and influence sustainable practices within and beyond their campuses. They are working to achieve net carbon zero in our operations by 2030.
