The Engineering & Design Institute London (TEDI-London) is a new higher education institution with an innovative approach to Engineering, founded by three leading universities:
Arizona State University (USA): ranked #1 in the USA for Innovation (U.S. News & World Report, 8 years, 2016–2023)
King’s College London (UK): ranked 37th in the world (QS World University Rankings 2023)
UNSW Sydney (Australia): ranked 45th in the world (QS World University Rankings 2023)
TEDI-London has partnered with Kaplan International Pathways to offer direct admission to undergraduate Engineering degrees. Their combined aim is to create engineers of the future with industry-relevant skills, and to make Engineering accessible to all by challenging stereotypes of what it takes to be a great engineer.
Why TEDI-London
Specialist facilities: At TEDI-London’s campus in Canada Water, students will benefit from exceptional facilities, from small prototyping and 3D printing to large-scale equipment and teaching rooms. Students will have everything they need to develop their ideas and grow their engineering skills.
Practical, careers-focused teaching: TEDI-London offers a project-based approach to learning. Students work on real-life industry challenges, co-designed and delivered with employers. And instead of traditional lecture theatres, students learn in creative, practical Makerspaces.
Fresh approach to admissions: Unlike with many other engineering degrees, students don’t need A-level maths or physics to apply to TEDI-London. Instead, students can take a maths refresher course or pass an online numeracy test.
