Accommodations: With all the amenities of town on their doorstep, and all the perks of University accommodation, students get the best of both worlds at University Square. Just off the High Street and minutes from the Gateway Building and The Forum, this bright and modern accommodation at University Square is unmissable (literally). There are over 560 student rooms arranged in flats, within seven houses situated around a central enclosed courtyard. Students will have a Residents’ Assistant based in their area of accommodation who’ll meet them soon after they arrive. They’ll make sure that students have opportunities to get involved in University life and social activities, and provide support outside of office hours.

Location: The Essex seaside town, Southend-on-Sea runs along the South East coast of England, connecting the Thames estuary to the North Sea. Southend is renowned for its landmark pier – the longest of its kind in the world, its award-winning beaches, and its illuminated nightlife. The town also has its own airport, and a train ride to London takes less than one hour. With over 300 places to eat, award-winning nightlife, a theme park, museums, sporting opportunities, and even an international airport, there is so much more to discover in Southend than the seaside.
